Pickup from Delhi Railway station /Airport and move for Shimla . About Kufri Kufri is a small hill station in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh state in India. It is located 13 km from the state capital Shimla on the National Highway No.22 The name Kufri is derived from the word kufr meaning "lake" in the local language. Naldehra After Kufri visit Naldehra, "Nestled between the beautiful lofty ranges of the Himalayas, lies the Naldehra hill station. The Naldehra hill resort near Shimla is no less than a picture perfect destination. Hidimba was supposed to have lived there with her brother Hidimb, Hidimba vowed to marry one who would defeat her brother. During Pandava’s exile, when they visited Manali. Bhima killed Hidimba. Manali (Snow Point and Solang Valley):-
Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel and later get ready for an excursion to visit kothi gorge, marhi, gulaba. is outstandingly beautiful and is an ideal spot to view the majestic snow covered himalayas, serene natural surrounding, pristine lake and fairy white snow round the year. Solang Valley is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh. Situated on the way to Rohtang from Manali, every year the valley welcomes tourists in huge numbers. As the snow melts, skiing is taken over by zorbing. Rohtang pass : The pass provides a natural divide between the Kullu Valley with a primarily Hindu culture (in the south), and the arid high-altitude Lahaul and Spiti valleys with a Buddhist culture (in the north). The pass lies on the watershed between the Chenab and Beasbasins. On the southern side of this pass, the Beas River emerges from underground and flows southward and on its northern side, the Chandra River (flows from the eastern Himalayas), a source stream of the river Chenab, flows westward. Rohtang pass depends upon permit availability on additional cost of vehicle & permit (Tuesday pass is closed). Vashisth Hot Spring :- The Vashisht hot springs are across the Beas River. Vashisht, renowned for its temples and sulphur hot springs, endowed with great healing powers. The natural hot sulphur springs, with two separate bathing tanks for men and women are always full of tourists. Return back to the hotel on time for dinner and overnight stay.

Manali to Dharamshala (06 Hrs) :-

A section houses the work of contemporary artists, sculptures and photographers. WAR MEMORIAL : At there start of town, landscaped lawns and a web of narrow paths fill a pine grove where a monument has been raised to commemorate the post independence war heroes of Himanchal Pradesh. BHAGSUNATH : Close to fresh springs, this ancient temple is 11 km from Dharamsala. It is a popular picnic spot and the famous slate quarries are close by. BHAGSU WATERFALL: Bhagu waterfall situated close to Bhagsunath Temple, is one of the beautiful streams in the destination. The waterfall has a cascade of 30 ft during monsoons. Decorated with slate graffiti, the mountain side of the fall is among the highlights of the tourist spot. Dal Lake:Located at the height of 1,775 metres above the sea level near the village of Tota Rani in the Kangra district of Mcleodganj in Himachal Pradesh, the Dal Lake is a small yet picturesque lake. With its name taken from the famous and breathtaking Dal Lake of Srinagar, the lake is surrounded by rugged mountains and towering deodar trees and is a marvellous place to be at. Quaint and calm, the lake has greenish water which is the dwelling place of different kinds of fishes that live here. According to many famous legends and myths, these fishes are never caught or eaten because of some malediction that the lake is believed to be cursed with. Ironically enough, at the same time, the lake is considered to be a sacred spot by many people as there is a small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva that is located on the banks of the lake. Church of St. Johns in the wilderness:This neo-gothic architecture was built in 1852 and is one of the most important churches in Himachal Pradesh. Located near Dharamshala and on the way to Mcleodganj, this church was built in dedication to John the Baptist. It is also the final resting place of Lord Ergin, governor general and viceroy of India during the British Raj. This church should not be confused with the church of the same name located in Nainital, Uttarakhand. Tibetan Museum:This museum is located inside the Tsuglagkhang complex and has a collection of brilliant forms of Tibetan art, which includes history documents, pottery, handicrafts, paintings etc.It provides an insight into Tibetan culture and also the various struggles faced by them lately. The structure of the Tibet Museum is influenced by Tibetan architecture which is unique and innovative.\ City Shopping McLeodganj is famous for its culture, crafts, etc. and tourists flock in from different parts of the world to experience it and be a part of it. The shopping experience in McLeodganj is worth remembering, provided you know how to bargain and purchase the local items of the place such as Tibetan mats and carpets. Dalhousie Chamba & Khajjiar :-

Khajjiar Often called India's Switzerland, the exquisite glade of Khajjiar (1960m) has a circumference of about 5 km. Khajjiar of India at a height of 6400 ft. Hutchison writes, "Khajjiar is a forest glade of great beauty, 6400 feet above sea level". Khajjiar is often reffered to as "Gulmarg of Himachal Pradesh". A little away from the lake is the temple of Khajji Nag belonging to 12th C. AD. In the mandapa of the temple one can see the images of the Pandavas and the defeated Kaurvas hanging from the roof of the circumambulatory path. The sanctum of the temple has been beautifully carved from wood. Chamba Chamba town (915m). stands on the right bank of the river Ravi. As a former princely State, it is one of the oldest in the century and dates back to the sixth century. It is well known for its splendid architecture and a base for numerous excursions. There are four doors to get into the Harmandir Sahib, which symbolize the openness of the Sikhs towards all people and religions. The Gurdwara is surrounded by a large lake or holy tank, known as the Sarovar, which consists of Amrit (holy water). Sri Harmandir Sahib is the heritage of the Sikh people gathered in their five hundred years old history. Jallianwala Bagh which is a memorial to the countless numbers of innocent Indians which were massacred by General Dyer in 13 April 1919 which happened to be 'Baisakhi', one of Punjab's largest religious festivals. British General, Edward Dyer, ordered his soldiers to opened fire on an unarmed gathering of Hundreds men, women and children in this place. Later the cab will drive you to Chandigarh. As the name suggests, the park exhibits some of the rarest and exquisite varieties of roses and is said to be home to about 825 varieties of flowers. The other major attraction of the garden is more than 32,500 varieties of trees and medicinal plants. Rock Garden Located in sector 1 of the beautiful city Chandigarh, The Rock Garden has been designed as an open-air exhibition hall using urban and industrial wastes by Nek Chand, a former Road Inspector in Chandigarh. Also known as Neck Chand's Rock Garden, this massive 40-acre garden is a colourful mosaic of art pieces and sculptures made from industrial and home waste. The Rock garden was built in the year 1957 by officer Nek Chand single-handedly in his spare time and has become a long-standing symbol of imagination and novelty in the city. Having a total of about 5,000 statues within its bounds, the Rock Garden is one of the prime attractions of Chandigarh and is a must visit.The Rock Garden area is divided into three different phases which have different types of installations and embellishments in them. Phase one is a labyrinth of terracotta pots, chambers and niches that have been decorated with tiles, mirrors, broken bangles, tube light pieces and even toilet fixtures. Sukhna Lak Nestled at the foothills of Shivaliks, Sukhna Lake is a beautiful lake set amid the picturesque surroundings of Chandigarh. Stretching for a distance of 3 kilometres, the Sukhna Lake is a man-made lake and is one of its kind in the city created in the year 1958 by damming the seasonal stream, Sukhna Choe that comes down from Shivalik Hills.
